Correlation of international prostatic symptom score with prostate volume

Objective: To evaluate the correlation of International Prostatic Symptom Score with Prostate Volume Benign Hyperplasia patients. Study Design: A Cross- out sectional study was done. Qualitative variables measured by Chi square test and quantitative ANOVA. Pearson & multinominal regression were applied. P value considered significant at <0.05. It conducted in a tertiary care hospital, Ziauddin University Hospital Karachi. Methodology: The data collected from 103 prostatic hyperplasia BPH patient recorded transabdominal ultrasonography Radiology department. Severity symptoms assessed IPSS questionnaire. Result: Mean found to be ±13.7. Clinical presentation showed hesitancy nocturia as most frequently occurring benign patient, these statistically volume. Conclusion: strongly correlated prostate Irritative voiding have shown more association increasing Keywords: Hyperplasia, Volume, Score, Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms.
